My initial reaction was that this ad campaign for Lanvin’s Fall ’11 line is horrible. I mean, Pitbull?! Really? And although the dancing and coordinated outfits are fairly awkward, Alber Elbaz’s cameo at the end totally makes it. Happy to see a fashion house not take themselves too seriously!

Morning Rant
I was a little frustrated when I woke up this morning to read that Bank of America is planning on “eliminating” over 3% of their workforce in the coming months, based on their devalued stock and recent litigation brought against them. My frustration was compounded after reading this NY Times Op-Ed piece on business and government’s [...]

Weekend Fun
Tim and I had a pretty active weekend despite what seemed like 98% humidity. On Saturday we decided to check out the Brooklyn Flea - embarrassingly, I have never been. I know it’s a great spot for local food and vintage, clothing, and antique vendors, and I thought I’d check it out as a potential market for [...]
Daphne Guinness Exhibit at FIT

Preview images were leaked today and it looks like it’ll be good. Not only does she have fantastic hair (if I do say so myself), but was a friend and collection [...]
